May 22,  · When I had heard Gelsenkirchen’s Gloryful and their debut album The Warrior’s Code for the first time last year, I loved the first track, but then subsequently somewhat lost interest, partially due to the gruffish vocals of Johnny la Bomba that began to grate a bit and the songwriting seeing a few dips as well. When Ocean Blade, album numero two, rolled around, I was interested in hearing.
